(May 4, 2018)

Dallas – Juniper Capital Management (“Juniper”), a Dallas-based private equity firm, has added Ben Phillips as an associate, business development.

With over nine years of business development experience in the commercial real estate and banking sectors, Phillips will help lead the firm’s growth strategy by identifying, developing and supporting new business relationships. His role will be instrumental in further positioning Juniper as a leader in executing strategic investments in growth-oriented companies within the manufacturing, industrial products and services, and infrastructure services sectors nationwide.

“We are excited for Ben to join our team and continue to build on our momentum following the recent announcements of our first three portfolio investments,” said Lou Grabowsky, Juniper’s co-founding partner. “The timing of Ben’s addition is fortuitous, as Juniper and our newly created Infrastructure Services Group water infrastructure investment platform are both poised for strong growth. We know that Ben’s deep business development experience will complement our existing team’s capabilities and help build our presence in the key industry sectors where we focus.”

Before joining Juniper, Phillips served as a senior associate in Transwestern’s industrial services group, where he was responsible for cultivating new business opportunities, developing and implementing marketing strategies for leasing assignments, and conducting market analysis to ensure sound development and acquisition decisions for developers and investors.

He also gained valuable experience working as a commercial banking officer at Texas Exchange Bank and serving as an associate in the industrial services groups of JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle) and Grubb & Ellis Company.

Phillips earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in real estate from the University of Mississippi.
