Experience

Lou has led and advised management teams and boards of directors in achieving their business strategies, improving performance and advancing key governance practices for over 30 years. Most recently, he strategically guided Grant Thornton LLP as its Chief Operating Officer during the most severe financial crisis since the Great Depression, culminating in the firm achieving its highest level of net revenues and income up to this point in its history.

Lou led a corporate capital restructuring and has participated in IPOs, debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other major capital-raising activities. He possesses a deep knowledge of the capital markets and regulatory environments, both in the U.S. and abroad.

He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
